One People!!

Those Who Come and See The Savior of Mankind!!
Those Who Find Their Forever Family!!

So He came to a town in Samaria called Sychar, near the plot of ground Jacob had given to his son Joseph. John 4: 5

Joseph was given this land, the land that became Sychar in Samaria.
Joseph never got to live on this land.
So it’s interesting that God mentions this little fact about this land.
This land, this area that was full of people who were half Jewish and half Gentile.
This land where the people were not allowed to enter the temple of God.
This land where Jesus first directly reveals that He is the long-awaited Messiah.

And in the details, we see the plans of God, the love of God for all of humanity.
For Joseph was sold into slavery in a Gentile, pagan nation.
He lives in this pagan nation, Egypt, until he dies.
So it’s His Sons that inherit this land.
His sons that are half Jewish and half Gentile, in blood.

That Jesus would first reveal directly to a woman, who was half Jewish, half Gentile, that He was the Jewish Messiah.

That this was God, Jesus showing the Jews that God had come for all people through Him.
That this was God, Jesus showing the Samartian and all other people groups, that God had come for all people through Him.
That all people were going to offered to follow the God of Abraham and Isaac and Jacob, the Only True God.
That all people would be offered to follow under the leadership of the Jewish Messiah.
That all people would be offered eternal life, the eternal Kingdom of God, that we can only access through the Jewish Messiah.

That God’s Kingdom was going to be made up of both Jewish and Gentile people.
That like the Samaritan we would become one people, one flock, one race, one faith, one with Him our Savior, under the One and Only God who sent us--all people—the Savior of Mankind through the Jewish people.

May we know that we know that we know Jesus is for all people, all nations, all tribes, Jew and Gentile, that all receive His offering of eternal life.
