Blazing Fires Lighting Up The Dark of Night!!!

A talent of pure gold is to be used for the lampstand and all these accessories. Exodus 25: 39

God is defining what the Israelites are to use to make the lampstand from, for the temple of God.
In this, we can see a connection to Jesus.

For Jesus, told us a parable about talents of gold.
That a king, gave his people each a talent of gold.
Then He goes on a journey.
And when He comes back, He checks to see what they did with the talent.
That they will be rewarded for what they did with this talent of gold.

This is the story of mankind, in this season of fallen creation.
Jesus is this king.
And He is telling us, that all people are given a talent of gold in this life.
That He left and went away, giving us all time to do something with it.
That He will come back-as He does in the story—to see what we did with it.

The talent of gold is symbolic for faith.
For God gives us all a measure of faith.
That He has set eternity in all peoples’ hearts.
That we would all believe that there is a God, One God.

In this parable of gold, Jesus is referencing this verse listed above in Exodus.
That in this chapter, the golden lampstands, are made up of this one talent of pure gold.

He is showing us that we, people, are called to be these lampstands.
That the talent of gold, our faith, would grow to become this vessel of light.

He states this is pure gold.
Meaning the faith we have is based on, with, in, from, the purity of God.
This is symbolic of Jesus Christ.
For He was and is God on earth.
For He was and is the blameless one.
For He was and is the pure one.
For He was and is the only one who lived a perfect life.
For He was and is the only one who could be a perfect sacrifice for the sinful hearts, the sinful nature of human kind, given to us by Adam and Eve’s disobedience in Eden.

So God is showing us, that this pure talent of gold, is our faith in Jesus Christ, the pure one, the holy one, the only blameless one that has ever walked the earth.
And this is the light that will fill His-God’s- temple.
That this is the truth that will fill His-God’s- temple.
That this is the light of truth that all people need to know about God, and His ways.
That Jesus, His purity, our faith in Him, is what will fill up, make up God’s temple, God’s Kingdom.

So essentially God is pointing all people to see and receive that Jesus is perfect, holy, and gave up His life for us.
That our faith in this truth, this light, is what makes us part of God’s Kingdom.
That when we believe, when we choose to have faith in this truth, we become part of God’s temple, God’s Kingdom.
That we have entered into God’s very presence, with this faith, the pure talent of Gold, Jesus, believing in Him.
That this is the material, the basis, the core of God’s Kingdom.

And since this gold makes up a lampstand, God is showing us, that our faith in Jesus, will lead us to be these vessels that show out, the light of the world, that Jesus is the way, the truth, the life.

The accessories He is speaking about above- that are also to be made of this same gold, are mentioned in an earlier devotional, branches and buds that decorate this lampstand.

He is showing us that as e live for His Kingdom, we grow in our abilities to fulfill our callings.

For these lampstands give off the truth of who Jesus is.
So the more we walk in our faith of Jesus, exercising our faith in what Jesus says and what He promises, we grow more and more to look like the tall lampstands, covered with branches of gold and buds and blossoms.
That our branches will spread Jesus, His truth, further and further to everyone and anyone.
That these buds and blossoms will infuse every place we walk with His sweet aroma of His love and His peace and His healing, His truth of who He is and what He offers all people.

May we know that we know that we know this offering of pure gold, Jesus—faith in His perfect holy life, in His perfect offering of His sacrifice on the cross— has been and is being offered to every human being right now, that everyone have the chance to receive His Holiness, His payment for our diseased hearts, His offering that gives us entrance into God’s Presence, God’s Kingdom for All Time, simply by calling on His name.

May we know that we know that we know that once we have received Jesus Christ as Lord, we have grown this gold inside us, that we can continue to become this lampstand, being grown, being sculpted, being cultivated, being stretched and reformed, into the beautiful life-giving light sharing, love spreading vessels, all people were called to be in this fallen season of creation.

May we know that we know that we know that the more we follow Jesus and His ways, the more we realize no goal, nothing in this life, nothing in this world, will ever satisfy us like Him, His ways, and all that He offers us, today and tomorrow, and forever.
