Past Gone-Forgotten

Blessed of the Lord!
Those Who Are Saved Out of All Their Troubles!

For the past troubles will be forgotten and hidden from my eyes. Isaiah 65: 26

This is God’s continual reminder of His mercy.

That Jesus really did pay it all.

That every past trouble we had, every past struggle with our flesh, will be forgotten.

That every mistake, every accident, even every intentional misstep is hidden from God’s eyes.

That when He said He made us new creations, all of us became new in His eyes.

Yes the new heart, with the new desires that He gave us that gives us the new mind, the sound mind of Christ to make better decisions, God ways for our lives.

But more so.

He completely transformed us in His eyes, that the past—which will be everything we did in this life, the time before we see Jesus face to face—isn’t just not held against us, but God has wiped from his mind.

That He won’t remember it anymore.

That we are truly starting fresh, new, a new page, a new body, a new life, like when we started at a new level at a new school, or in a new city.

That the slate being clean, there is no baggage we are carrying.

That we will have more wisdom and joy than ever, nothing able to discourage us from taking on the new challenges, nothing holding us back.

Really living in the knowledge of who we are in Christ—His crowns of splendor-His masterpieces.

Really living in the truth that anything is possible with the Lord.

May we know that we know that we know we have a future with our loving Father and Savior Jesus, where He truly wipes away all the past and gives us a new beginning.
