Unearnable!
Those Who Humble Themselves To Receive!
Those Who Put Their Hope In His Unfailing Love!
For six days, work is to be done, but the seventh day shall be your holy day, a day of Sabbath rest to the Lord. Whoever does any work is to be put to death. Exodus 35: 2
I constantly write out explanations when I see statements like this.
Where God declares death on something.
And we think, really, why?
Because God is good.
And He is setting the stage of what is to come.
That everything He taught the Israelites was the standard of life.
That everything He taught the Israelites was the truths of God’s Kingdom.
That everything He taught the Israelites was the way into God’s eternal Kingdom and everlasting life.
That God completed salvation for us, through Jesus.
That anyone who works on this day, the Sabbath, is essentially not receiving Jesus as Lord.
Meaning they have not received Jesus and His free gift to life.
Meaning they are trying to work, to earn their way into Heaven.
Meaning they are trying to be good enough, in their own strength.
Meaning they will miss out on eternal life.
Because the only way to live forever, is to receive Jesus Christ and His sacrifice.
And this is a free offering.
May we know that we know that we know that God is always good.
May we know that we know that we know He outlined the truth of Jesus and His sacrifice to us through every rule in the Bible.
May we know that we know that we know this offering of Jesus, is offered to all people, that we would all receive His unearnable, free gift and live forever with Him in His eternal Kingdom of life, light and love.
