Evergreen Trees Who are Planted By the Stream of Life!
Lush Gardens Who Never Fear Drought!

When all the flocks were gathered there, the shepherds would roll the stone away from the well’s mouth and water the sheep. Genesis 29: 3

This is part of Jacob’s story from Genesis, when He shows up to his extended family, to go find Himself a bride.

He pulls up to the place where the shepherd’s water their flocks.

It’s an allegory of the story of our lives.

That God is showing us, that shepherds, Pastors, are called to gather us up in front and roll away the stone, taking us through the stone, to water, to life.

For the stone is the rock uncut by human hands, Jesus Christ, the Messiah.
He is the rock we are to build our lives on.
And We go through Him, receiving His sacrifice, to find life.

This life, is the Rivers of Living Water.
He is the Holy Spirit, God our Father, Jesus our Savior’s, Immortal Spirit.
He comes to give us life, refresh us with God’s Spirit.
As we drink Him in, This wonderful water, fills us, overflows us with God Himself, His power, His love, His healing life, that comes to lives inside us, giving us life, for all eternity.

Just like these sheep needed water to live, so we need this water of eternal life to live with our Father forever.

And God is showing us, that there will be shepherds, who bring us to this stone, Jesus, that we find the open way, to the water we all need to live.

May we know that we know that we know the only way to get to This water of life is through the stone of Jesus Christ and His sacrifice on the cross.
