Seen, Heard, Blessed
Those Who Pray Without Ceasing!
Children Constantly Realizing They Are Heard and Seen!
Go back and tell Hezekiah, the ruler of my people, This is what the Lord, the God of your father David, says, I have heard your prayer and seen your tears. I will heal you. On the third day from now you will go up to the temple of the Lord. 2 Kings 20: 5
God had just told Hezekiah he was going to die.
So he cried out and reminded God of his faithfulness to follow him.
He had Isaiah come back and then tell him he was now going to live.
That God heard his prayers.
That God saw his weeping.
That God had compassion on him.
So God reinstituted him.
He recommissioned him.
Giving Hezekiah his title back, Ruler of His (God’s) people.
That just by a prayer, an earnest heart felt prayer, God changed His mind.
And everything completely changed.
Hezekiah, this title and the fact that he is healed after three days foreshadows, what God was going to do for His Son, His One and Only Son, the Messiah.
That the Messiah would be the Ruler of God’s people.
That He would be healed after three days, Jesus back from death.
And then retakes His rightful role, His title Ruler of God’s people.
But this time, not just the King of the Jews, but of every person who believes in His sacrifice.
So that when Jesus came we would know it was Him, the Messiah, the Ruler of God’s people, when He came back to life.
That we would follow Jesus and His ways.
That we would know He is God.
God is also showing us the way we can live, have life again too, through Hezekiah.
That He will immediately hear our prayers and return and give us life, when we ask.
For when we call on His name— God through Jesus the Messiah— we get our second chance, our redemption of life, salvation, no longer dying but now alive forever.
For when we call on God—Jesus—like Hezekiah, we are given life, a second chance at living, now for God, with God, through God.
That we get second chances, more time to fulfill the callings of our lives. (see Second Chances training)
That we will live and live with our callings, our purposes, leading others around us to Jesus, leading them to eternal life too.
God gave me this scripture last year when I was praying for my people to be saved.
This year during fasting and prayer, crying out for my people yet again, He gave it to me again.
He even underlined it by opening a hole in the dark cold clouds outside and poured sunlight right on my face as I was reading it.
As if to say, I’m here, I heard you, Yes this is your answer!
For I was praying for the salvation of those around me!!
And this is God’s answer, Yes!!
That it is always God’s answer—Yes!!!
That no matter who is asking for life, Yes, is always the answer.
That no matter who is crying out for salvation, for life through Jesus Christ, Yes, Yes, Always Yes!!
Jesus confirms this, when praying for Lazarus, to live again.
That God, our Father always hears Him.
And if, Jesus lives inside me, since I believed and received His sacrifice, then God always hears my prayers for the lives of those around me, too.
May we know that we know that we know God is our loving and merciful Father who is showing us the power of our prayers, the power of earnestly crying out to Him!!
May we know that we know that we know that He is always listening, that whenever anyone, whether king, or slave, Jew or Gentile calls out to God for life, through Jesus Christ, they will receive life, a second chance at living, salvation, life forever with God, entering His eternal Kingdom, everyone, everyone, everyone who cries out for life!!!
May we know that we know that we know that God—Jesus— always hears the prayer of our hearts for our lives and for the lives of those around us, and He Will Give Life To, bringing our people into the fold of His beautiful, wonderful, eternal, life giving Kingdom that never perishes or fades!!!!
