Spared Like His Son
Those Who See God Open the Floodgates of Heaven and Pour Out a Blessing Too Great To Contain!!
Those Called Blessed By the Maker of Heaven and Earth!
On the day when I act, says the Lord Almighty, they will be my treasured possession. I will spare them, just as a father has compassion and spares His son who serves him. Malachi 3: 17
God is speaking through the prophet Malachi.
He is speaking of a future time when God is going to reward those who followed Him.
That He is planning to give compassion on all those who believe in the Messiah, Jesus Christ, the Lord!
That He will spare all those who believe and trust in Him.
That He is planning to distinguish between His people—those who believe in Jesus— and those who don’t choose Him.
This speaks of multiple times and ways.
First Malachi mentioned the Son God spares.
This is referring to Jesus first.
For He is the Son of God.
He is the Son who died on the cross for all people.
He is the Son of God who rose again.
That Jesus is the Son that God spared from eternal death, giving Him life back again, giving Him His throne back again.
That Jesus is the symbol, the reminder, the proof, that all who come to God, through Jesus, will receive our life back again, eternal life, in the Kingdom of God.
That we will be spared eternal suffering.
Then all that Malachi was saying should have reminded the Israelites of their time of slavery in Egypt.
That when God was delivering them, He had compassion on His people and spared those who served Him.
That He protected His people the Jews during His wrath towards unbelievers, the Egyptians.
For the Jews, worshipped Him, the One True God.
And the Egyptians were pagans worshipping creation.
So when God was delivering Israel, the Jews, to take them to their freedom in the Promised Land, He protected them, He blessed them from the suffering coming all around them.
The Israelites were protected from the plagues as they increased.
That they were protected from the darkness, from the boils, from the hailstones.
Those who obeyed God and put the blood of the lamb on their door, were protected from the death of the first-born child plague.
While those in Egypt suffered from each plague horribly.
For God wanted them to know He was God.
That they turn and follow Him, learning He is the truth.
When Malachi was written, this in Egypt had already happened.
So God was letting us know this is going to happen again.
That all who receive the Messiah—Jesus Christ— will receive the same distinguishment that the Israelites had back in Egypt, protection from suffering the wrath of God, protection from plagues He is going to bring, protection from the wrath of God that brings eternal suffering and a fiery death.
That we who believe, and receive Him, now, are distinguished from the rest of the earth, that we will never suffer in this way.
That we will be spared.
That we will be covered in God’s compassion.
That we who believe, become His treasured possession.
Now, there is a new season of plagues coming on the earth.
It’s called the Tribulation.
This is the next season of mankind that is to come.
(see Four Seasons training)
Where just like the plagues of Egypt, the people of earth will suffer.
But those who have believed now, before this tribulation season, will never see this happen.
For God has promised us, the rapture, a Noah like removal removing us from the harm before this comes to pass, being spared because we serve Him, because we worship Him, because we received Him as Lord.
But this also speaks to the eternal wrath of God.
That God will make a distinguishing for all people, for all eternity, protecting His Sons and Daughters, those who have believed and received Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior, sparing us from the eternal wrath of God, the forever suffering in eternity.
That they, we, be distinguished, saved, spared, set free, from any eternal suffering, but instead be loved, enjoyed, protected, living with God, in the Promised Land of eternity, the renewed Eden, living in the lush Garden of God’s Presence, being led by Jesus Christ, the Firstborn Son, the Messiah, the King of all Kings, the one who made it possible for us to be spared this suffering.
May we know that we know that we know if we choose to believe and receive Jesus Christ and His sacrifice for us, we have a blessed, healthy, healing, forever youthful, full of peace and joy, eternal future, spared from suffering, spared from sorrow, spared from death, covered in compassion, where we will prosper in our new callings, our new missions, our new adventures, walking hand in hand in hand with our Savior.
May we know we know that we know if we have believed and received Jesus Christ as Lord today or before the season of the tribulation, we have the opportunity to tell everyone we know, we like, we hate, we love, we even see in the grocery store, about Him, that they also be spared this painful suffering season still to come.
May we know that we know that we know the moment we believed in Jesus we received this sparing, this compassion, this covering from the wrath to come, The Holy Spirit of God living in us, giving us life, that God has offered and continues to offer all people, all nations, all mankind, that everyone and anyone receive this protection, receive this life, receive this distinction, to be His Treasured People for All Time.
