Stones, Rocks, Tools, Eternity

Those Who Have No Other God But Jesus!!
Those Who Stand On the Rock Of Truth And Live Forever!!

If you made an altar of stones for me, do not build it with dressed stones, for you will defile it if you use a tool on it. Exodus 20: 25

An altar is a place where they would burn offering to God.
God is giving them directions if they decide to make one.
That they not use a tool on it.

He is telling them to take stones, raw stones from the earth.
And keep them natural.

God is the Maker of Heaven and Earth.
He made all the mountains and rocks and the stones and everything else.
So stones kept in the natural form testify of God and His power.

He tells us in the book of Daniel, that there is Kingdom coming that will take out every Kingdom before it and cover the whole world.
The symbol of this Kingdom is a rock.
The Rock that is described as a rock uncut by human hands.

So when He tells us that the stone of the altar should not have a tool used on them, He is setting the stage to point all people to His Kingdom.
That the altar that would contain a sacrifice, would be made from stone, a rock uncut by human hands.

So we have an altar, a sacrifice to God, not done by humans, and a Kingdom that lasts forever.

All of which points us to see that God will bring forth a sacrifice for Him, by Him, that brings forth His Kingdom that will last forever.

All of which points us to Jesus Christ!

For He was God in the flesh.
For He chose to give up His life on the cross to pay for mankind’s debt against God.

For He rose to life again.
And His Kingdom of gospel good news truth, has been overtaking the world since He came out of the grave alive.

And it will continue to overtake, to call in, everyone and anyone who wants to live in the Kingdom of God and live forever.

May we know that we know that we know every detail in the Bible is there so that we see the promise, the offer, the hope of Jesus, His Kingdom and living forever with Him there.
