The Kingdom of Heaven is like yeast that a woman took and mixed into about sixty pounds of flour until it worked all through the dough. Matthew 13: 33

Yeast:
Teachings of Jesus Christ

Woman:
Like the woman at the well that goes and tells everything He did for her.

Sixty pounds:
6 is the number of man-so all the world, all mankind.

Reading this this morning, this parable juxtaposed to the man who plants the mustard seed, I thought why does Jesus mention a woman specifically.

Then it hit me.

He has these two together because in Joel 2 the Holy Spirit is promised to all people, who receive Jesus.
Man, woman, slave or free, anyone and everyone.

He is letting us know that men are called to plant the seeds of the kingdom where they are and it will surely grow.

And women are called to spread the truth in their realms, too.

That both men and women are called to spread His truth throughout all the world.

That we are a team, having different roles but both playing a part and both needed to lead everyone and anyone to Christ.

And that the result of this is that the Kingdom reaches the Heavens, the Kingdom that overcomes and rules all other kingdoms.

And that all the world will reached, given the ability to learn this truth, that Jesus Christ is the Messiah the only way to God.

May we know that we know that we know Jesus died for everyone and anyone who would receive Him.

May we know that we know that we know, every person is called to spread this truth near and far to everyone we know.

May we know that we know that we know no matter our roles or our realms, we are all called to be a vital part of team Christ, sharing Him and His wisdom to everyone.
