The rest of the grain offering belongs to Aaron and his sons; it is a most holy part of the food offerings presented to the Lord. Leviticus 2; 10
The people gave a memorial offering of grain.
They take the finest of flour.
The pour olive oil on it.
And then put incense on it.
The priest takes an handful and burns it as a memorial offering.
Then the rest is for Aaron and his sons.
Aaron being the high priest.
His son also called to be priests.
And I asked myself why is the remainder, the most holy part of the food offering.
That it belongs to the High Priest.
Jesus is the real high priest this is foreshadowing.
Jesus is the grain offering.
Jesus is the finest flour-His words.
Jesus’s Spirit is the olive oil-the power to keep us shining out His truth, living forever.
The incense is His prayers, surrendered to die for mankind.
But what is left, after being burned is the most holy portion.
Jesus after He is resurrected the most holy.
After He has been through His trial.
At this time in Leviticus Jesus has not come as a man on earth.
Nor had He been crucified. in the fire of His trial.
Where He surrendered unto his death to save mankind.
He is telling us beforehand.
He is preparing us for the One to Come.
He is letting us know about the One who we are accountable to listen to.
The One that brings God’s words to us.
Our bread of life.
The One that looses His Spirit of life to us.
The immortality, our new Spirit, His.
The One that makes it possible for us to pray directly to God/Him.
A sweet aroma of surrender.
That this will make up the most holy sacrifice.
That this will make up the most perfect sacrifice.
That this will come from the high priest.
That this sacrifice belongs to the High Priest.
That this sacrifice will be offered by our High Priest.
The most holy sacrifice.
The one that sets all mankind free.
It also means what we look like.
That as we take of His bread/words
That as we take of His Spirit/His oil/His empowering.
That as we offer our prayer/our surrender/our asking Him to be Lord.
That we belong to the High Priest.
That we are His.
That He is our Lord, Jesus.
That we refined on the altar.
But what is left of us, is His forever.
May we know that we know that we know everything in the Bible testifies of the One Messiah, the Jewish Prophet, The Word of God, The Savior of Mankind
Jesus Christ.
May we know that we know that we know that everything in the Bible testifies of Jesus, so that we believe and receive what He offers us.
May we know that we know that we know He offers us, His perfect obedience for our Adam and Eve disobedience, His physical death for our eternal life, that we receive by simply asking for this offering, this most holy offering.
