When they reached the valley of Eshkol they cut off a branch bearing a single cluster of grapes. Two of them carried on a pole between them, along with some pomegranates and figs. Numbers 12: 23

Two of the Israelites came back bearing fruit from the promised land.

There were twelve men that entered the promised land to scout out what God have given them.

But only two brought back fruit.
This was an allegory for what was to happen next.

For only two of the twelve that had entered the land, came back with faith in God, that He would truly give them that land.

For only two out of the twelve believed God’s promises that He would give them that land.

For only two of out of the twelve believed that was willing and able to deliver them from the enemies, the giants in the land, and bless them with a wonderful future.

Only two of them brought back fruit.
This is the fruit that God asks for us to carry, too.
Fruit is faith to believe that He is trustworthy.
Fruit of faith in Him to believe that He will do what He says He will.
Fruit is that faith to believe that Jesus is the Messiah, the Lord, the Savior, who really did make a way for us in the wilderness of this life, to get to and enter our promised land, eternity with God, a place with no sickness, no death, no sorrow, but joy, provision, peace, eternal health, youth, and greater purposes with more rewards than we can imagine.

And only those two entered the promised land.
Everyone else died in the desert wilderness.
Only those two got to live in the blessings of the Lord.
And that is what He is telling us.

If only we would believe and trust in Him, that Jesus is the Lord, then we too can enter our blessed promised land, of more good than we have yet to imagine.
For that is the only way we get to enter into the promised land.

May we know that we know that we know, that if have faith to believe and receive Jesus as the Messiah, then we have the fruit and we will enter into our Promised land.
