Fruit of the Land

Those Who Taste And See The Goodness of God!!
Children Filled with the Sweetness of the Lord in the Soul!!

Taking with them some of the fruit of the land, they brought it down to us and reported, “It is a good land that the Lord our God is giving us.” Deuteronomy 1: 25

The Israelites were told that this land was theirs.
So they went to investigate it, that they would know what to expect.
And they brought back fruit to the others, to tell them, and show them the goodness of where they were headed.

In this lies the truth of what God does for us, in this life for preparation for our promised land, eternity with Him.
He gives us fruit, that we would know where He is taking us is good.

When I was younger I knew God was the truth.
I knew Jesus was the only way to God.

But I didn’t know they were good.
I didn’t know they wanted to be good to me.
I didn’t know they would be good to me.

So the fruit that God gave me was that:

I learned that I had a God, a Father of today, that cared about my struggles today, so I could get to tomorrow.

I learned that I had Savior that saved me today out of all my troubles, as well as those, for eternity.

I learned that I had a best friend living inside me, leading and guiding me today, on the best path for my life to get me to tomorrow and eternity.

I learned that they cared about me.
Really cared, madly, deeply, today, yesterday, tomorrow, about me.
That they were ever present and available and listening.

The fruit I found, was discovering, that not only were they good, but they wanted to be good to me and are good to me all the time, and even more so, they are better to me that I was even to myself.
The true fruit that shows me the good land of eternity.

God has done so much for me.
God healed me of autoimmune issues, healed my spine, and more.
God has filled me with such completeness at a time in my life, that for three days, I couldn’t stop praising Him with my mouth.

But the biggest fruits for me, is that He never lets me go.
He is there everyday, loving on me.
He is there everyday, helping me, listening to me.
He is here, everyday, speaking to me, covering me with grace and mercy.
He is here, shining His light into my heart.

In seeing that, receiving that fruit, the goodness of God, we can know that our promised land with God, our Father, with Jesus our Savior, is not only going to be good, but its going to be the most incredible wow amazing, better than we can think, imagine or fathom.
For He will be there.
So it will be a good, good land.

May we know that we know that we know, God wants to be good to us today, that we would know the promised land He has for us, is a good good land.
