The Way of Love

Those Who Hear The One Who Speaks The Words of God!
Those Who Accept Him and the One Who Sent Him!!

A new command I give you: Love one another. As I have loved you, so you must love one another. John 13: 34

If we are commanded to love one another and to love another like Jesus- then how did Jesus loves others?

Jesus first obeyed His parents.
Jesus obeyed the laws, paying taxes, etc.
Revealing to us that love recognizes authority.

Jesus spent time with His students daily.
He ate with them.
He traveled with them.
He shared life with them.
He took them to family wedding.
Revealing to us that love requires time.

Jesus lived in giving out mercy.
Jesus healed every sick person brought to Him.
Jesus healed the dead.
Jesus set the oppressed free.
Jesus even challenged human rules that prevented Him from offering mercy.
Revealing that love seeks to heal.

Jesus provided food for those who were hungry.
Jesus spoke kindly to those being shamed.
Jesus defended those who could not defend themselves.
Revealing to us that love seeks good for others.

Jesus taught everyone about God our Father.
Jesus taught everyone how to get to God our Father.
Jesus taught us wisdom on how to live Godly lives.
Jesus taught us that this will bring us life and joy.
Revealing to us that love lives in truth.

May we know that we know that we know if we follow in these ways we will live in the love that we were always made for.
