This is the story of the world.
God is reaching out.
He offered Jesus Christ at the cross, that we would have Him, and God and the perfect Holy Spirit.
Their Spirit inside us, uniting us with God forever.

God prepared the wedding feast for us.
He sent Jesus down to us.
Jesus paid for all our sinful natural born nature.
And all we have to do is receive it.

But as we learn above, people decided to focus on the here and now.
We have all done that in this life.
For life is a long season of making decisions, choices.
And all of us in the beginning don’t really know what we are being offered.

So those of us who believe, we get to be around those who have not seen the value of God, Jesus yet, after we have believed.
And show them the value of knowing our wonderful Messiah.

It’s what I work on daily.
Seeking to understand what people are seeking in this life, to then show how God, Jesus, are so much better and longer lasting than that.
Because they really are.
To know Jesus is better than anything this life offers.

And actually everything that God created in this life, was to show us, who He is and will be that we would see the value in knowing Him.

He gave us creation to testify of His wonders, His abilities, His artistry, His attention to detail, His love of variety, and His faithfulness.

He gave us marriage to show us the unity, the deep intimacy of being one with Him, through Jesus giving us the Holy Spirit.

He gave us children to know the deepest of sacrificial love, a parent connected to this beautiful selfish needy creature that is always crying out with a constantly green snotty nose and jammy hands, that we cannot fathom our depths of love we have for them just like He has for us, all His children.

He gave us abilities to help, and heal and create and work, that we would see that we were made for more a bigger destiny than ourselves, created to accomplish and help with His creation, being part of the family with duties and challenges that inspire and change us, and grow us.

May we know that we know that we know the Mariana Trench depths of the value of God, Jesus Christ the Messiah, and the Holy Spirit, that our excitement and love overflow to everyone around us that they couldn’t resist to hear God’s call and come to the wedding feast too.
