Those Who Will Believe!
Those Who Realize That God So Loved The World That He Gave His One And Only Son!
Those Who Believe In Him, Who Will Never Perish, But Have Eternal Life!!
But the Lord will take away her possessions and destroy her power on the sea, and she will be consumed by fire. Zechariah 9: 4
God is making a declaration.
For those who were against Him.
Against Him because they worshiped false gods, making and eating sacrifices they made to them.
Against Him because they didn’t live in His ways of taking care of the poor, but piled up money, living in greed.
Against Him because they didn’t know He was God, the Maker of Heaven and Earth, and The Master of Humankind.
Against Him because He gave out His truths but they did not listen to Him, Nor Love him, Nor Believe In Him, Nor Recognize Who He Is, Was, and Always Will Be.
It’s speaking ultimately of the end times.
That God is going to remove all those who did not believe in Him. Those who did not receive Him through Jesus out of this life.
That all those who do not receive Jesus as Lord in this life, are choosing to not have eternal life with the Maker.
That they chose to be their own gods or make up their own gods, that cannot save them, that cannot help them, that cannot give them life.
That losing everything and being consumed by fire is the destiny for all those who do not choose the One True God through Jesus Christ
For it’s in this chapter, where God reveals, the solution for those people were against Him.
That God has made a way, to avoid this suffering.
That God has made a way, to be given eternal life.
That God has made a way, that we not lose but gain everything.
That God has made a way that we receive more than we lost in this life.
That God has made a way that we go into Eden redeemed, a place that the name means pleasure.
Living a new life in a place of healing, and health, peace and joy.
Living in a new time and season with our Father who made us, our Savior who saved us, our Friend who never leaves us, and always seeks what is best for us.
For we see in this chapter the prophecy of Jesus.
That for these people, who were lost, Jesus had not yet come.
But He has for us.
Jesus has walked this earth.
Jesus was born of a woman.
Jesus was God in the flesh.
Jesus lived humbly, obeying everyone of God’s ways.
Then Jesus surrendered to God, to pay for mankind’s worship of false gods.
Then Jesus surrendered to God to pay for mankind’s worship of money.
Then Jesus surrendered to God to pay for mankind’s lack of honor, wisdom and acknowledgment of their Maker.
For Jesus surrendered to God to pay for mankind’s wrong thinking, wrong motivations, and wrong heart.
So we see this in Zechariah, that after the Savior Jesus has come, God is promising a new season.
A new season for those who believe now.
Since Jesus has come.
But also:
A new season for those who will believe, at the end.
A new season for all the Jews to believe.
A new opportunity to believe.
Where there is feasting.
Where they, we are rebuilt.
Where there is joy.
Where there is one last hope before the above-mentioned sorrows.
Where the nation of Israel will be saved.
Where countless numbers of every tribe and nation will find life forever.
Called the tribulation, outlined in Revelation.
May we know that we know that we know God is always good.
May we know that we know that we know God gave us this season of fallen creation, that we find Him, choose Him and life, having given all people free will, that we have the ability to choose His love and life with Him or not.
May we know that we know that we know God has moved and continues to move Heaven and Earth to reach out to each and every person that they have this option to choose life-Jesus- and has written down details of what He offers, what we would miss out on, and how He promises to offer this free gift of life, love and eternity to all people, over and over and over again, until there is no more time left.
And may we know that we know that we know for our Jewish friends and family, who have suffered to bring us this truth, for all the generations of life, that God has not given up, nor forsaken you, but has determined that in the last season of life, He will relentless, wonderfully, completely call all His first people, that they have this second chance at all He offered that they receive every good gift too.
