Seeing Pieces of Him
Those Who Walk Through The Narrow Gate!
Those Who Receive Their Place With Him!
Make a curtain of blue, purple, and scarlet yarn and finely twisted linen, with cherubim woven into it by a skilled worker. Exodus 26: 37
God is detailing the curtain that used to separate the ark of the covenant, the Holy of the Holies section of the temple, from the rest of the inner sanctuary.
This curtain is symbolic of Jesus and more!!
This curtain is the curtain that tears from top to bottom when Jesus gives up His life on the cross.
The finely twisted linen is Jesus, His sacrifice, His life given up on the cross.
For linen is finely beaten scrapped, whipped until beautifully soft and refined, like Jesus was on the cross.
The blue represents His Spirit, the Holy Spirit, His Spirit of Rivers of Living Water that is given to us, after receiving Jesus Christ as Lord.
In the past Jewish prophets and Priests could be covered in Him.
But He was not given to all people to live inside us until Jesus.
The scarlet yarn is symbolic the sinful nature of mankind, our innate pagan hearts, our hearts bent towards the world, that Jesus died to save us from.
It represents all people who do not know God or Jesus.
It also symbolic of His blood given up for us on the cross, His payment of sin offering for all mankind.
Purple is symbolic of those who follow God, as the combined colors of sin covered with blue, making purple.
For the Jews at this time are following the One True God.
They had been accessing the blue of the Holy Spirit at times, on them, through prophets.
And they were at the time following the only way to salvation, that was given, at that season.
But they had not been able to receive the complete fulfilment of their salvation, the Holy Spirit inside, as Jesus still needed to give up His life.
So Purple is symbolic of those who already believed in the One True God, like Lydia in Acts 16, a worshiper of God, but have not yet received the sacrifice of Jesus Christ, her completed salvation.
Purple also symbolizes royalty, Jesus’s royalty (Daniel 5, Matthew 27 & John 19).
For Jesus is a King.
And that His blood, scarlet, mixed with the blue Holy Spirit offering will make this one Kingdom, but now one that lives inside all people who believe, because of the white linen His sacrifice.
And His Kingdom will cover all people, those previously lost to the world, (scarlet) and those who knew the Only God (purple).
A kingdom made up of Jew and Gentile, those who had never heard of the God of Abraham and Isaac and Jacob and those of who came in His lineage, Jews.
The curtain has Cherubim designs on it.
This was reminder to all people in Genesis of the cherubim that guarded the tree of life in Eden after Adam and Eve sinned.
That when the curtain was torn, the moment Jesus gave up His life, it opened the way to life for eternity, Jesus’s Kingdom for All people, Jew and Gentile, the way back to the Tree of Life.
May we know that we know that we know Jesus came to die for all people, Jew and Gentile for all of us, to be included, into His forever Kingdom, returned back to Eden, walking with our Father in the garden again, face to face.
May we know that we know that we know God in His great mercy wants all people to believe, so He continually gives us these specific details, that we would all see and believe, the Love of a Father, who sent Himself in the form of a man, to lay down His life, to buy us back from death and give us family, life and better for all the rest of our days and more.
May we know that we know that we know, that Jesus’s death on the cross, tore this curtain in two, that we would see, His life, His death, is the way, the truth and the life, the only way to get into God’s Kingdom, the only way to the tree of life and God’s presence, and all we have to do is receive this free truth.
