Those Who Will Drink From The River of Water of Life, As Clear As Crystal!
Those Who Find The One True Life Giving God And Dwell With Him, And Him With Us!

And he took the calf the people made and burned it in the fire; then he ground it to powder; scattered it on the water and made the Israelites drink it. Exodus 32: 20

God is showing us through this scripture, many things.
First, that He is going to destroy all the idols of this life.
And He will turn them into a fine powder of nothing.
For idols leave us lost.
For idols leave us lacking.
For idols lead us to miss out on truth.
For idols keep us blind to what really heals us.
For idols block us to know our purpose for existence.
For idols bind us to fear, striving, suffering, and ultimately death.
For idols separate us from the Higher than the Heavens love from our Maker, our Father.
For idols keep us hostage from the wisdom that a living breathing savior, self sacrificing lover our of souls is seeking us to give us everything we need in this life, and the life to come.

That He will bring a leader to come, who has come.
That He will destroy all the false the gods we worship in this life.
That the leader He was sending and did send, His first mission was to wipe out the world system of worship.
That He would wipe away and destroy paganism.

Which He did on the cross.
For Jesus, His sacrifice, His perfect obedience in life and then His perfect obedience unto death defeated the enemy of the humanity who leads us to idols in our hearts, our minds, our lives.

So we see that the enemy world’s system of worship, worshiping anything but the One True God, will burn up, be destroyed, be as nothing.

Then we see that this destroyed idol is put into the water.
The water that God gave them.
The water from the rock.
The pure drinking water that was giving them life in the desert.
Moses had them drink it.

Now in other scriptures Jesus/God had people put things into water that was already unclean and make it healthy, clean.
But here we see that Moses had them put in impurities to their already clean water.
And then drink it.

It was symbolic for the Israelites.
It was symbolic of what was to come when Jesus offered them pure water.
It was symbolic of their rejection of Jesus’s perfect sacrifice—for them, for us, for all people—on the cross.

That this happened at His first coming.
That they would not take in the pure truth of the good news of Jesus and what He offered.
That they would still drink from water from God, but miss the purity of holiness, forgiveness from Jesus when it was offered the first time.
That, that generation, would miss complete eternal healing. from Jesus.

But what we know is that Jesus God offers the Israelites water from a rock a second time.
The Bible states that the water gushed out.
And the community and their livestock drank.

So we know He will offer the purity of water of life to another generation of Israelites.
And they will drink it in.
And they will be saved.

May we know that we know that we know Jesus came to save us, by defeating the one who inspires, leads, entices people to worship things that cannot save, that cannot heal, that cannot give life, that will be burned up, made into nothing, just dust, by God’s holy refining fire.

May we know that we know that we know if Jesus has not given up on Israel but indeed has plans to call all His Israelites a second time, giving them another chance, then we can know that we know that we know that He will keep calling us, giving us, all in this season of life, chance after chance to hear and believe and receive His life giving water, His truth of Jesus Christ and His ability to set us free, destroying anything and everything that is keeping us from all His goodness!

May we know that we know that we know God foreshadows all that He is doing for mankind through the pages of the Bible, that when we see, we know that He is God and are comforted by the good news that He has good plans for us all, and that He doesn’t give up on any of us, willing and wanting each and everyone person to come into His Eternal Kingdom of Light, Love, Health, Healing and Truth.
