Pleading Their Case
Those Who Seek the Favor Of God For Others!!
Those Who Will See Miracles Of Friends, Of Family, Of Neighbors And Of Colleagues Saved, Healed, Set Free, Sealed For The More Wonder Inducing Than Disney World, More Decadent Than Louis the 14th’s Versailles Palace, and More Full Of Health, Love, and Joy Than The Boundary Waters of the Earth Can Hold Kingdom!
But Moses sought favor of the Lord His God, “Lord, “he said, “why should your anger burn against your people, whom you brought out of Egypt with great power and mighty hand? Exodus 32: 11
Moses had been away for 40 days.
He had gone up the mountain to speak to God.
He was getting God’s commandments for the people.
And while he was away, the people lost hope, lost direction.
The Israelites gave up waiting on Moses to come back.
They assumed he wasn’t coming back or was dead.
So they made golden calves to worship.
Before Moses has come down the mountain, He is pleading for his people.
For God had just told Moses of what his people are doing, while he is gone.
And how angry God is that people are worshiping statues of gold.
Statues that cannot heal.
Statues that cannot give life.
Statues that cannot lead or guide people.
All of which God can and does offer to all people, forever healing, life beyond the grave, leading and guiding us today and forever.
This is showing us what Jesus, the Messiah does and did and will do for us.
He intercedes for us with Father God.
For Jesus stepped into the natural world to stop Father God’s wrath against. us.
Wrath that was coming on all mankind due to Adam and Eve and their disobedience the garden.
Adam and Eve who obeyed the enemy who cannot heal, who cannot give life, who only leads us and guides us to death and destruction.
That is why He climbed up on the cross and gave up His life.
Since then-after rising to life again-went back to Heaven.
And now He is there making intercession for us, like Moses.
He is with Father God.
He is up above talking to Father God.
He is up above reasoning with Father God about people.
He is up above asking for our protection.
He is up above asking Him to relent from giving up on us.
He is up above pleading our case.
For all those who do not believe yet, both the Gentile and the people of Israel.
For all us who already believe, then we take on this role.
For the moment we spoke Jesus is Lord, taking Him into our hearts, we are sitting in God’s very presence.
Since Moses shows us what Jesus is doing for us, and we are called to be like Jesus our Lord, then we then take on this role.
We get to talk to Father God.
We get to start reasoning with Father God about people.
We get to ask for protection for others.
We get to ask Hm to relent from giving up on the lost around us, our family, our friends, our neighbors, our colleagues.
We get to plead their case.
But this is also a sign to the Jews, to the Israelites of God’s plan for them.
It is a timeline for their redemption.
For Moses is also representing the Holy Spirit.
The Holy Spirit that is given to all who believe and receive Jesus Christ as Lord.
For Israelites, were already led out of Egypt.
Meaning the access to being set free from slavery had already been given.
For the Passover lamb had already been sacrificed-Jesus.
So this first coming down the mountain with the commandments, was symbolic of the Holy Spirit coming down to lead and guide people to follow Jesus and His good ways.
Only the Levites and a small number of Israelites are still faithful to God when Moses comes down with the ten commandments the first time, this time.
So Moses goes back up the mountain.
And when He comes back a second time, to share the ten commandments to the Israelites, all of them receive them.
This is showing us there will be second outpouring of Jesus’s Spirit.
And that is when all the Israelites will believe.
May we know that we know that we know that Jesus is good, loving and wonderful, pleading our cases in the Heavenliness, that we be given mercy until we believe in Him, receiving our golden ticket to Eden Redeemed, with our Father God and Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, and Their Perfect Spirit of Everything we could want, need or ask for.
May we know that we know that we know we are called to be part of this miracle of interceding for everyone around us, that everyone who we love, like or even hate, come join us in the only the Kingdom that will last, that offers us life beyond the grave, reconnection to our Maker, our Father, our God, and the joy, the peace, the everything, we have been seeking.
May we know that we know that we know Jesus, Father God, have not given up on the Israelites their Chosen eternal priests, but is currently interceding for them in Heaven right now, and will make a second offering, to the whole nation, that will come during the tribulation, the time of world-wide suffering, where they will all believe and be saved.
May we know that we know that we know, no one needs to wait one second more, nor ever need go through the world-wide suffering to come, but can receive Jesus Christ His love, His Spirit, His intercession, His sacrifice, if we just boldly and even blindly ask Jesus into our hearts, by speaking He is the Lord, that immediately enters us into the peace of Father God the moment we speak it, giving us eternal protection, giving us eternal life, giving us our forever home, and giving us our forever family, right now.
