Do the works of Him who sent me

Jesus was showing everyone the way to eternity, the way to the promised land, the way to God.
It was through Him.
Through the sacrifice He made to give us a new nature.
And once we believed and received this new nature, then we are to tell everyone we know the truth, too.

Night is coming when no one can work

Jesus is letting us know that we should choose today, and lead others today, as soon as possible.
That the window to choose salvation will close.
That’s a hard concept for Americans.
For we have so much choice.
We have near a mile of an aisle of breads to choose from.
So the concept that we would no longer have the opportunity to choose is a hard one.
But that is exactly what Jesus is telling us.

Since He died, giving up His life, we have an opportunity to use the free will He paid to give us, that we would choose.
To not choose Him is a choice for the enemy.
And when the door closes, then we will all have to walk in the choices we made.

May we know that we know that we know the urgency of telling everyone we know and love and like and meet, and see, and even hate, about Jesus Christ, so they can choose life with Jesus Christ, and have eternal life, in the promised land with God our Father, Jesus our Savior Messiah, filled with the Holy Spirit, the very Spirit of God.

May we know that we know that we know, He will move mountains to reach our loved ones, for He loves them and wants them for eternity, even more than we do.
