Freedom From Busy

Those Who Hear and Believe!
Those Who Find Eternal Freedom!

Make the work harder for the people so that they keep working and pay no attention to lies. Exodus 5: 9

This the world system of slavery.
The enemy of our souls wants to keep us so busy, accomplishing our tasks, that we don’t hear or see or learn about the things of God, the ways of God.
Pharaoh was literally keeping these people in physical slavery.
He was keeping them building bricks, man-made rocks for a man- made kingdom.
It’s what the enemy does to us all.

God wants us to see, that we need to take time to listen to Him, to hear about the freedom that He offers all people.
That His ways bring freedom.
For Moses and Aaron were speaking to the people of the freedom that God was going to bring them.
The hope that they should have had for their futures.
About the One True God, who would lead them into His Kingdom of Freedom.

That the enemy of our souls has us focus on our accomplishments, our bricks, making tasks harder, bringing more work to us.
That the enemy will distract us with more obstacles, focused on the life here and now, to keep us hearing from God, hearing about His ways of freedom.

God says that if we seek Him first, all that we need is added.
That He will even fight our battles.
That as we give to Him first, He provides abundantly for everything else.

So, the enemy always wants us focused away from hearing God’s words and will keep us busy, working, striving, trying to meet some worldly standard, worldly goals.
He is trying to keep us bound to slavery.

But God, He longs for us.
He seeks us.
He woos us.
He sends people to us to teach us.
That we would have the freedom that He gave to us, through His son Jesus Christ, and His sacrifice for our sinful natures.

That when we receive Jesus Christ’s sacrifice, we live in freedom in our heart and minds, now knowing, we don’t have to be slaves anymore.
We don’t have to prove an achievement, for Jesus gave us His achievement.
We don’t have earn anyone’s love, for we have God’s freely given, overflowing love to us.
We don’t have to prove any value, for Jesus proved it by dying for us, that we would be His family.

May we know that we know that we know Jesus came to set us free from striving, and all people have the opportunity to receive it, if we would just listen to His love call.
