Job, Jesus, Forgiveness and Mercy
Those Who Find The Overflowing, Never Ending Compassion of God!
Those Who Turn And Receive Eternal Forgiveness From The Only Innocent One!
After Job had prayed for his friends, the Lord restored his fortunes and gave him twice as much as he had before. Job 42: 10
Job’s friends had come to sit with him through his struggle.
Then at some point they were not able to struggle along with him.
Job is another allegory of Jesus Christ.
For nobody suffered as much in one day as did Jesus.
Job lost all his family, his fortunes within a hour in one day.
Jesus lost His own life, His family, and all His earthly possessions in one day.
Job was restored to a double portion of blessings on earth, after he prayed for his friends, who had eventually turned against him in his struggle, believing he had done something wrong in God’s eyes.
Jesus was restored to His place of honor, His glory, His life, and was given the keys to death, hell, and the grave, after He prayed for all His friends, His people and all of us to come, at the cross, when He said, “Father forgive them”, after we had betrayed Him, saying this innocent blameless man had done something wrong to deserve death.
First, Job was an example for all people to see Jesus.
Of who He would be.
That He would suffer in His innocence.
And that after His suffering, He would rise to even higher than before, and that He would offer forgiveness to all those who harmed Him.
That He would be generous in His forgiveness.
That His Kingdom, would continually offer forgiveness to everyone and anyone.
He is also our example of God’s blessings to us, when we offer forgiveness to those who were against us.
That as we forgive and pray for those who have persecuted us, we will be blessed.
But it was also God giving us insight to the war in the Heavenlies.
That our Messiah’s dying, His suffering was also testifying, and ultimately condemning the devil, a creation of God’s.
That God is even giving the devil time to repent, chance after chance to recognize and see God’s glory, God’s power, God’s mercy, to mankind.
That God is even giving the devil time to repent and to turn back to Him and walk in obedience to the One True God.
May we know that we know that we know Jesus our beautiful Savior suffered greatly in His innocence to offer all people forgiveness.
May we know that we know that we know that are never more like Jesus than we offer forgiveness and pray for those who have persecuted us.
May we know that we know that we know that if God was still seeking to lead the devil to come back to Him, how much more is He seeking our family, our friends, our colleagues that they receive the way to life, too.
