The Blessing
Those Who find Their Purpose in Life!!
Those Who Are Filled with a Tsunami of God’s Love That Makes All Other Things Pale In Comparison!
He blessed them that day and said, “In your name will Israel pronounce this blessing; May God make you like Ephraim and Manasseh.” So he put Ephraim ahead of Manasseh. Genesis 48: 20
Jacob was blessing all his kids right before he passed away.
The first born son is supposed to receive the greater blessing.
For the first born is always a first fruits, a consecrated child to the Lord, in Judaism.
But Jacob switched his hands and was giving the greater blessings to Joseph’s second son (Ephraim) instead.
Many times, reading this I thought God, that’s not fair.
Why did you let that happen?
It was only recently while writing the Messiah Revealed, Fruit of Faith that God taught me why, He allowed this.
Ephraim is put first, over his brother because of what his name means, and teaches the world, our purpose for this life.
Ephraim’s name means, God has made me fruitful in the land of my suffering.
Because we are all supposed to become fruitful in the land of our suffering.
That we are all supposed to produce the fruit of faith believing in the Messiah, Jesus Christ, the Savior, in the land of our suffering, the world.
That His name meaning took the priority of blessing because it is to point all people to this fact, that God wants all people blessed like Ephraim, to have this fruit, faith in our savior, while we live in this season of life in the world.
And His brother takes second place also because of his name meaning.
Manasseh’s name means, God has made me forget all my trouble and all my fathers’ household.
This speaks of our next season, walking with God face to face.
Where now we are members of His household, and He wipes every tear from our eyes from the season of fallen creation, the world, the land of our suffering.
That in eternity with God, the joy, the fullness, the completeness, will override and overwhelm any past pain from the land of our suffering, this side of eternity.
So God changed the order of blessing of Joseph’s kids, because God wanted to show us this is the order that God will bless us.
First to believe and receive Jesus Christ and be saved, the meaning of Ephraim’s name, saved, fruitful.
Then we receive the blessings of Manasseh, God wiping away all the pains of fallen creation from our hearts and minds.
May we know that we know that we know everything is written in the Bible to point us to our Savior, our Love, our Healer, our Redeemer, Jesus Christ.
May we know that we know that we know this season of life is a choosing ground, that we would receive Him, Jesus, and be saved, made complete forever, fruitful in the land.
May we know that we know that we know the joys and healings, and the mercies that are coming today in knowing our Savior and for the purpose to our pain, and in our forever time with God/Jesus who will remove every single tear drop, every single pain, every bit of the sorrow of anything we experienced here and now, And like Joseph we will say, God has made us forget our suffering.
