Bought By Joseph
The One Who Finds The One Who Gives Life and Life in Abundance!
Those Who Reap a Crop of Eternal Life!!
Joseph said to the people, “Now that I have bought you and your land today for Pharaoh, here is seed for you so you can plant the ground”. Genesis 47: 23
Joseph is telling the people that He bought them.
For they sold themselves and their land to him for food during a devastating world-wide famine.
Joseph is the allegory of Jesus Christ, the Messiah.
That they now belong to Pharaoh, who is the allegory of God.
And He gave them seed to sow in the land, real crops to grow, that they live and prosper in the land, the seed being the allegory of the Holy Spirit given to all who receive Jesus’s sacrifice.
For Jesus bought all of mankind through His sacrifice.
And He did this for God, the Father that we would all belong to Him.
And He has given us the seed of the Holy Spirit to plant, to sow on our land, to share with everyone around us, that they be saved too.
For Jesus, is life of perfection in every way, and His death on the cross, was payment for all peoples lacking of holiness, lacking of an intrinsic goodness, a famine of righteousness, for the whole world.
So we needed Him to give us this life-giving seed, the Holy Spirit.
So we offer ourselves to Him, His leadership over us, that we receive His gift of life, the seed so that we can live forever.
So those of us who have believed and received Jesus Christ’s sacrifice, that we receive His forgiveness, and perfection before God, were bought by Him.
For we are the pearl of great price that a man found and went and sold all He had for, Jesus giving up His life for us.
And Joseph, Jesus, is telling us that He bought us and our land, for God/Pharoah.
That now we will forever belong to them.
That now our land, which means, our bodies, our space where we dwell, and our descendants belong to Him.
That He will be the One over us, over our families, leading us, guiding us, directing us forever!!
While that might sound particularly terrifying to most people, for me, that is the most welcoming, wonderful, exquisite promise there can be!!
For the enemy of our souls seeks to have us fear God.
He seeks to make us think He is mean, and mad and smiting people all the time.
But actually that this the enemy, the ruler of this world, that Joseph, Jesus bought us back from.
He is the one who brings death, disease, sickness, paralysis, cancer, and all things evil.
He is the one who brings insecurity and fear and separation of man from our Maker, the enemy holding us hostage to death and destruction in the first place.
But Joseph Jesus bought us back for the One Who loves us with an undying, unending never exhausting love.
Joseph Jesus bought us back for the One who made us and seeks to provide for us daily.
Joseph Jesus bought us back for the One who placed us in Eden, which means pleasure and is bringing those who believe into an even better redeemed Eden to come.
Joseph Jesus bought us back for the One who taught us to love people back into wholeness, to take care of those who have less, to feed the hungry, to clothe the naked, to provide for the widow and orphan.
Joseph Jesus bought us back for the One who says I will open the Heavens and pour out blessings you cannot contain.
Joseph Jesus bought us back for the One who wants us to live in freedom in our hearts, and minds, and souls.
Joseph Jesus bought us back for The One who says come to me and I will fill you to overflow.
Joseph Jesus bought us back for the one that says no matter how much we reject Him, He will keep loving us, choosing us, providing for us seeking us.
Joseph Jesus bought us back for the one who gives us life for eternity and promises it is a place with streets are made of gold, where death no longer exists., where we have new purposes that will satisfy and bring joy, in a land that yields to us, and where we have family to belong to forever, with new adventures and new hopes.
Joseph Jesus brought us back for the Lover of our souls, the God of the Universe who is literally composed of Love.
May we know that we know that we know that we know every detail in the Bible is to point us to our redeemer Jesus.
May we know that we know that we know Jesus paid for us to receive life, life forever with our Maker and Father.
May we know that we know that we know to receive this payment, being bought out of slavery from this broken world system, is not only the best decision any person can make, but it is literally the whole purpose of this side of eternity, to find Him, receive Him and receive life through Jesus.
