A Prophets Reward!
Sheep Who Are Blessed by Our Father, Taking Up Their Inheritance, the Kingdom Prepared For Us Since The Creation of The World!!!
Those Who Will Hear, Well Done, Good And Faithful Servant, You Have been Faithful With a Few Things, I Will Put You In Charge of Many Things!!
He said, “Listen to my words: When there is a prophet among you, I, the Lord, reveal myself to them in visions, I speak to them in dreams”. Numbers 12: 6
Right now, I am going through and writing up Revelation for my Thursday night Bible study, week by week.
We were talking about the judgments that God was speaking in Revelation 11: 18.
That He was going to reward His servants the prophets and judge the dead.
Back when I was prepping this devotional in January, I was writing this about Joseph, Jesus’s human father, Mary’s husband.
Because I knew this scripture in Numbers, that God speaks to His prophets through dreams and visions.
And I was like, oh of course God/Jesus, gave Himself to live under a prophet, Joseph.
Though we don’t know much about him,
We know that God spoke to Him many times, to direct Him through dreams.
Jesus obviously hadn’t died and risen again, when He was being raised by Joseph.
So Joseph was given the Holy Spirit before, covered with as an Old Testament Prophet.
But in thinking about this scripture and Revelation, I realized something else.
Jesus gives everyone this opportunity.
That we all have this opportunity to become a prophet.
For Jesus only offers two options at judgement time.
Either rewards for His prophets.
Or judgements for the dead.
Jesus calls unbelievers throughout scripture, the dead.
Let dead bury the dead. Luke 9: 60
And we find that Peter stated the Holy Spirit when given in Acts 2, was the Spirit of Prophecy.
Who testifies of Jesus Christ.
Who gives dreams and visions, to sons and daughters, servants, old, young. Joel 2
Which all parallels the Matthew 25 stories, when Jesus is talking about the end, when judgment of mankind comes.
That we are either believers or unbelievers.
That we are either going to live for Christ or live for this 120 years or under.
That we are either prophets living forever or dead people walking.
That we are either going to judged for rewards, or we are going to suffer judgement and eternal death.
May we know that we know that we know the fire this should bring to each and every one of us, that know the truth of Jesus and His life offering mercy, that we tell everyone and anyone, every moment of every day, of the life we have been given and the future we have to look forward to.
May we know that we know that we know Jesus offers His promise of the Holy Spirit, His Spirit of Prophecy that will give us eternal life, dreams and visions-God speaking to us of His plans- directing us and leading us today and offering us rewards in eternity to all people, every day, that His Kingdom include everyone we have ever known, met, seen, loved, liked and even hated.
May we know that we know that we know to know Jesus, to ask Him into our Hearts, to be our Lord, is the only requirement to make us prophets of the Lord, those who are filed with His Spirit and are empowered to go and tell the whole World, of this Beautiful Savior, this Humble Redeemer, this Blameless Life Giving, King of the Universe who took on human flesh, to be obedient to human laws, and God’s perfect precepts, and then pay for all of humanities disobedience at the cross, rising up again alive, to now command all of the universe, all of its creations, all planets, all galaxies, who is coming back in the physical, to judge the living and the dead, taking His right place on the throne in mankind’s hearts, minds, and eyes and ears.
