God Over All Creation!
Children Of The Maker of Heaven and Earth!
Those Led By The Master of The Universe!
At the time of sacrifice, the Prophet Elijah stepped forward and prayed, “Lord, the God of Abraham, Isaac, and Israel, let it be known today that you are God in Israel and that I am your servant and have done all these things at your command”. 1 Kings 18: 36
Elijah’s job was to bring people back to God.
And here Elijah is asking God to show out for Him.
So that Elijah can fulfill what God called him to do.
Reveal to everyone the One True God!
And God shows out.
God answers Elijah and brings forth the fire that Elijah asked for.
That fire reigns from the sky, burning up;
the animal sacrifice,
the wood,
the stones,
the soil,
and the water in the trench.
Elijah’s God given purpose was to point people to the Only True God.
So God shows all the people watching, the people who had been worshipping creation,
Those who worshipped trees,
Those who worshipped rocks,
Those who worshipped water,
Those who worshipped air,
Those who worshipped fire,
Those who worshipped the ground itself,
That God, This God, has power over all of creation.
For His fire that reigned down, burned up all the parts of creation these people were worshipping.
And He called Elijah to do this purpose, He showed out for these people, Because God, He is good!!
Because He is the Creator.
And because He knows that creation does not hold power, but the Creator holds power.
Because God knows this world was twisted by the enemy of our souls.
And God, He is not willing that any of us, miss out on knowing Him, the truth, the Only God.
Because God, the Only God, doesn’t want anyone to miss out on eternity with Him.
Because God doesn’t actually want any person to suffer for all eternity without Him.
Because He doesn’t want anyone to miss out on knowing Him, the Best Father In the Universe.
Because He doesn’t want anyone to miss out on having the peace, in our hearts, and minds now and today and forever, that we have been missing since Eden.
Because He doesn’t want anyone to miss out on the Love He has for us, that never leaves us nor forsakes us, that never runs out, and always fills the deepest recesses of our hearts and minds.
Because He doesn’t want anyone to miss out on the good plans He has for all of us, that He tailored made just for us, and gave us the personalities for, that we would truly find satisfaction.
Because He doesn’t want us to miss out all the provision He longs to give us, the Lord our Provider, who owns the whole world and can produce anything we need at any time.
Because He doesn’t want us to miss out on all the family He longs to connect us to, for all eternity, that we can never lose, that will never die, that we will always belong to and with.
Because He doesn’t want us to miss out on His wisdom, His sound mind, the mind that made man, that made all of the universe, that made all of creation, that we would ponder all He has done and learn all the mysteries of the Universe from Him directly.
Because He made people to Be His, to Be Children Forever.
May we know that we know that we know that God sends us Elijah’s in our lives to point us to the One True God!
May we know that we know that we know it’s out of His love for us, that we know Him, that they are sent to us.
May we know that we know that we know this One True God, sent His One and Only Son, to die for us, that we be able to be reconnected to God our Father for all eternity, to receive all that He has for us to know, to learn, to experience.
