Freedom and Family

Those Who Receive the Spirit of Freedom!
Those Who Are Now God’s People!

Therefore, say to the Israelites, I am the Lord and I will bring you out from under the yoke of the Egyptians. I will free you from being slaves to them and I will redeem you with an outstretched arm and with mighty acts of judgement. I will take you as my own people and I will be your God. Then you will know that I am the Lord your God, who brought you out from under the yoke of the Egyptians. Exodus 6: 6-7

First He removes the yoke of our slavery.
He really set the Israelites free from slavery.
And He set us free from the slavery of world system.

Then He promises to lead us.
That His freedom giving to us, makes us His people.
And that makes Him our God.
And then we will really know Him.

Jesus is the one that makes all this freedom possible.
That when we accept His sacrifice on the cross, we receive His payment for our sinful nature.
That is what sets all of us free.
That is what gives us space in His family forever.
That is what gives us the Holy Spirit who leads us.

May we know that we know that we know the whole purpose of this season of slavery was to give us a choice.

May we know that we know that we know the choice is between staying in slavery to the world system or freedom in the Kingdom of God where death, pain and suffering will no longer exist.

May we know that we know that we know the God of love allowed this, that He even allowed Adam and Eve to rebel, that we would all have this opportunity to choose to love Him back, to choose to receive His freedom through Jesus, that we choose to be His family.
