Still Offering, Keeps Offering

Those Loved With An Everlasting Love!
Those Who Will Again Take Up Their Timbrels!

The people who survive the sword will find favor in the wilderness. I will come to give rest to Israel. Jeremiah 31: 2

This is a prophecy, a threefold prophecy for the Israelites, and a prophecy for all people.

First God is telling them about their exile to Babylon.
That God will take care of those at this time who were able to leave, making it through the invasion by Nebuchadnezzar to enter into Babylon.
That He will come to them.
That He will help them.
That He will be their protector, giving them rest, in their exile.
Like He did for Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednago and Daniel.

The second prophecy testifies for all people, Jews and Gentiles alike, of the Messiah, Jesus Christ
That all people can find favor in our wildernesses.
That there we can see God.
That there He will come to us.
That there in our wildernesses, in our troubles, He comes to us and reveals Himself to us.
That we can find rest under His protection.
That we can find rest for our souls.
For in Him, the Messiah, Jesus Christ, we can rest from our work, of trying to earn our goodness.
We can rest from trying to earn our holiness.
We can rest from trying to earn our salvation, our redemption.
That He sent John the Baptist to first show us in the wilderness, what would bring us this rest, receiving forgiveness of our sins.
Which only comes from the Messiah, who came down to mankind.
That His sacrifice on the cross, as we receive this offering, we receive this rest.
This rest in the wilderness, the world.
That brings us into His Kingdom.

The third prophecy is still to come.
That at the time of the tribulation, the Messiah will come to give rest to His people.
He is specifically speaking to the Israelites.
That those who have not yet received the forgiveness that Jesus offers, will go through a tribulation season, with the rest of the world who have not received Him.

But that those who make it, to the literal exile again, a walking journey into wilderness in search of food, there He, the Messiah, will come to them and reveal Himself to them foreshadowed through Joseph’s brothers life in Genesis (see Four Seasons training).
That they will still have time to receive this rest.

May we know that we know that we know we can all have this rest, right now—whether we are in literal wilderness or just living in the wilderness of the fallen creation—by receiving the forgiveness of our sinful nature, given to us by Adam and Eve, through the sacrifice of Jesus Christ on the cross.

May we know that we know that we know the goodness of God, who offers this gift to all people.

May we know that we know that we know the everlasting steadfast love of God, that is always trying to call, and woo everyone and anyone into this rest, this gifting, not willing that any miss being reunited with Him and His Kingdom, the Kingdom of Life, and Health, and Joy for all eternity.

May we know that we know that we know God has never given up on His Chosen People, and He will give them every single chance possible to believe!
