Jesus The Judge
Those Who Know The Plans He Has For Us Are Good!!
Those Who Never Need Fear For He Is Near!
He commanded us to preach to the people and to testify that He is the one whom God appointed as judge of the living and the dead. Acts 10: 42
Peter is speaking to Cornelius, his family and his friends.
Peter was called there by God.
For God sent Cornelius an angel to have him call for Peter.
Cornelius called.
So Peter came.
And they were all waiting to hear what Peter was supposed to tell them.
This is what Peter said.
That Jesus sent the apostles to preach and teach the truth of Jesus.
That they were called to testify of the truth they saw and heard and experienced with Jesus.
The truth that Jesus is the way, the truth and the life.
That believing In Him gives us life, past this season of living.
That believing in Him enters us into spiritual eternal life today.
That believing in Him enters us into His kingdom, God’s kingdom.
That believing in Him enters us into the Only Kingdom that will last or even exist soon.
That believing in Him enters us into the people we were always called to be, and the land, home we were always called to have.
And He is telling them, that Jesus, this forever King, of the only Kingdom that is now and will come in the physical soon,
Is the one who will judge us at the end of time for what we have done in this life.
Jesus Himself tells us that by our words we will be acquitted, by our words we will be condemned.
For if anyone claimed Jesus as Lord in this life- whether signing, speaking, writing or communicating this in some way to God-that they will be acquitted.
The living Peter is speaking of.
For those of us who have,
For those of us who will,
For those still to come,
This will be such a wonderful day.
We will have joy and peace.
We will have the one who sticks closer than a brother declaring blessings over us.
For this is where Jesus speaks over us:
Innocent
Debts Paid
Well done my good and faithful servant.
Those who don’t will be condemned.
Them having chosen to not want Jesus as Lord.
Those who sadly will miss out.
The dead Peter is speaking about.
Those who we still have an opportunity right now to try to reach, with this truth.
May we know that we know that we know for those of us who know Jesus, we only have good to look forward to, finally meeting our Savior face to face, a warm welcoming home, embraced by our Lord, our King.
May we know that we know that we know for those who do not yet have this peace and confidence for their futures, we can simply ask Jesus into our hearts, asking Him to reveal Himself to us, and He will not only faithful do this, but also give us this good good future too.
May we know that we know that we know for those that know, we like the apostles are called to tell the truth to all our Cornelius’s in this life, that all those we know, or even have met, have the same hope, joy and confidence we have.
