Those Who Keep Mixing the Yeast of Jesus’s Truth Until It’s Worked Through All the Dough!!
Those Who Will See This Mustard Seed Become the Biggest Tree Overshadowing Every Other Tree In the Land!
A man had a fig tree growing in His vineyard and He went to look for fruit on it but did not find any. Luke 13: 6
The fig tree is the people of Israel.
The Vineyard is the location of Israel.
This is Jesus telling He went to look at the people of Israel to see if they had fruit, fruit of faith, belief in Him as Lord and Savior.
(See fruit of faith training)
In the story He is telling us the timeline of His walking around Israel.
That He had been reaching out for three years, doing miracles, healing bodies, producing miraculous food, stilling natural storms, bringing people back to life, and teaching them the truths of eternity, of God, of His plan for mankind.
But they weren’t receiving it.
He tells them He is going to send His Apostles to surround them with truth, fertilizing them for one more year.
That they would still have another chance to believe.
I have been believing for so many people to receive Christ, as their Lord around me, in my mission field.
And I love that though Jesus was going to take His throne up, He still sent people-full of His Spirit-to keep fertilizing around them.
That He was still sending people, still trying.
That at some point in scripture that the calling of others, the Gentiles into the fold of Jesus Christ, would even serve to make His people jealous, bringing some people into the fold.
That God uses so many different techniques to get as many people as possible into His Kingdom.
That God keeps trying until there is no more time to try.
It encouraged me this morning, that even if people in my mission field aren’t taking my direct truths from my mouth, that I can fertilize around them, all around them, that they may hear and believe too.
May we know that we know that we know God, can call anyone through any means, directly with conversations, indirectly through people around them, dreams at night, Him coming down to reveal Himself to them directly, through miraculous provision or less than pleasant experiences where we cannot help but see Him and His authority.
May we know that we know that we know we should never give up but keep trying.
May we know that we know that we know it’s not over until it’s over.
