No More Curse
Those Who Have Hope For Blessings Today!
Those Who Will See The Goodness of God Today, Tomorrow and Then Forever!!
No longer will there be any curse. Revelation 22: 3
When opening my Bible to read this morning, my eyes went straight to this phrase.
And I thought, thank you Jesus.
No more curse.
I needed to know that this season in my life was going to change for the better.
I deeply needed to hear that today!!
While this, scripture, is ultimately telling us that in the end when we walk with our Maker face to face, the world will no longer be under any curse.
Meaning all sickness, all diseases, all pain, all suffering, all brokenness is forever removed for the world, the place we live in.
That these issues will cease to exist.
And I long for that day.
But scripture has more than one application.
For scripture applies to those of the generation that it was written in, for those who are reading it now and for a future that God has planned.
There are different levels of applications, too.
God is vast and incredible. His mind is so deep and delicious.
That is why the Bible can be read over and over and over and over and we keep learning new things and being encouraged over and over and over again.
So while this scripture about the world curse being over, death being removed, no one ever dying or suffering sickness or decay, in this context ultimately means a day in the future, it also applies today!!!
Those of us who have believed, in Jesus Christ and His sacrifice, we are already living with our eternal spirit that is no longer under any curse.
That means we will live forever, though at some time our bodies will expire, unless Jesus comes back before.
That means we have a present Father, who is literally fighting our battles today, setting us free from the hurts and decay and lack and oppression of this world, Today, Now, This Very Moment.
It also means that God will cancel and break any curses against us Tomorrow, sickness, lack, attacks of the enemy.
It also means we have rights to pray that God will cancel any curses against us today, and tomorrow.
It means we have a vast hope that goes on and on in so many ways!!
It means we can heave relief, freedom, Today, This Very Moment.
There are probably many other ways this applies, even more deeply that someone else with different life experiences that can expound for me and teach me, ways I have never contemplated because of my different life experiences.
May we know that we know that we know we have a vast hope today, tomorrow and forever, that God cancels curses off us and our family.
May we know that we know that we know there can be even more examples of canceled curses that I have not thought of that bring you and me and us, hope today, tomorrow and forever.
May we know that we know that we know Jesus gave us rights to have every curse broken off us the day He rose from the grave 2000 years ago, and for those who believe it, it applies in every way and every time.
