Washed Clean By Jesus

Those Who Live In Peace and Joy Knowing Their Eternity Is Set!
Children Who Become Rivers of Life!!

They shall wash their hands and feet so that they will not die. This is to be a lasting ordinance for Aaron and his descendants for the generations to come. Exodus 30: 21

God was commissioning all that Aaron, what the priests of the Lord, had to do before Him.
They had to wash when they entered the tent of meeting.
They had to make a bronze basin that would contain the water for washing at this time.

I kept asking myself why did they have to wash as they entered the tent.
That they are supposed to wash their hands and feet in this, water, held in the bronze basins before they enter God’s presence.

That if they do not, they will die.

All of this symbolized Jesus.
And what He offers us.
His purity, His cleanliness.
His spirit that washes us and makes us clean.
His Spirit that gives us eternal life.

That receiving Jesus Christ as Lord makes us clean, pure, giving us the ability to walk, to enter God’s presence for all time.
It’s why the Priests had to wash when they entered, into tent of meeting.
That this, purity coming from Jesus would be required by God, to enter His Presence.
That this will keep us from dying.
Because without Jesus’s covering, His purity we cannot enter eternity with God.
That without His cleanliness, His holiness, we cannot become part of God’s Kingdom of life.
The Kingdom that gives us life in God’s presence beyond the grave.

Why did it have to be a bronze basin?
I looked up what bronze was made of.
I found that it’s a metal combination that does not corrode.
That this water-held in the bronze basin—then will be clean, pure, in an incorruptible water container.

Which also shows us Jesus.
For He is the holder of clean waters, the purity we need.
That His body is the container, the bronze basin.
And as we put on Jesus, His sacrifice, we receive His Spirit.
His Spirit which is the Holy Spirit.
His Spirit that is the waters of life, symbolized in the bronze basin.
His Spirit that is the rivers of living waters.
His Spirit that we wash ourselves with when we believe in His sacrifice on the cross.
His Spirit that is the washing of water, that gives us entrance to God’s Presence to live with Him long after these bodies of flesh expire.

God required them, the Priests, to wash their hands and feet, before entering His presence.
They were required to wash their hands and feet, because they are things that touch the world.
That our feet are planted on the ground, the earth itself, that is corrupted by the fall of man.
That our hands touch all kinds of unclean things in this fallen world.
So He is having them wash the things that touch the fallen world, the broken world, and washing them with purity, with His sinlessness, with the cleanliness of Jesus, His Spirit, the Holy Spirit before they enter into God’s presence.

That they had to keep doing this each time to enter into God’s presence, because the world is still fallen, still living in the fallen world.
So they had to keep cleansing each time they wanted to enter.

When Jesus came, He offered all people His purity, His cleanliness, His washing, the removing of all fallenness from the world off us.
But this was to show us, the much better offering of Jesus.
For Jesus offers us entrance into God’s presence forever!
That Jesus covers us with His purity, His holiness, His life, His sinlessness from the inside out.
So even though we live in the world, His purity, washes us, covers us and now we can enter God’s presence at all times and not have to constantly rewash our hands and feet.

Because when we receive Jesus Christ as Lord, we receive His Spirit, His holiness, that lives inside us.

So now we don’t have to keep washing to enter into God’s presence for God actually now lives inside us.
That we are in God’s presence now.

That now we are called to wash other peoples feet.
Telling them about Jesus.
That we wash them with the truth of His sacrifice
That they receive this forever washing, purity too and live.

May we know that we know that we know Jesus gives us His holiness, His purity when we receive sacrifice, giving us entrance to God’s Kingdom forever.

May we know that we know that we know that when we believe in Jesus He has washed us, made us new, and now lives inside us, that we will never die but simply open our eyes to eternity in our Father’s presence seeing His beautiful face.

May we know that we know that we know once we believe we are called to lead everyone else to receive this washing of purity, that only Jesus can provide that they live forever too.
