Wonders of God!!
Beautiful Feeted Family Bringing Good News!!!
Those Who Declare Good Tidings and Proclaim Salvation!!
Then the Lord said: I am making a covenant with you. Before all your people I will do wonders never before done in any nation in all the world. Exodus 34: 10
Jesus-God-was promising to do wonders through the Israelites.
He was sending Moses down the mountain of God, with the stone tablets of His commands.
And then Jesus-God states He is going to do wonders that have never been done in any nation.
At this point, they have been delivered from slavery by God intervening.
They were protected from the death angel.
They were led through the Red Sea, that turned into dry land with walls of water surrounding them.
They have walked through deserts and had watered poured out to them through rocks.
And they had manna-food-seeds to make bread-rained down to them from Heaven daily for 40 years.
So I wondered what wonders is Jesus-God going to do for them, that has never been done.
For He has already done so many wonders for them that had never been done before!
Then He speaks of taking new territories.
That they would have victory over victory.
That this small tribe would be led The God of The Universe.
And He would make them able to take over every territory, every part of the Promised Land.
While that doesn’t sound as impressive as walking though oceans, for them it would have been.
They did not have their own land yet.
They had been promised it for generations.
But they were still wandering.
And they had been slaves for generations right before this.
So He is essentially telling previous slaves, homeless, lost wanders, they are about to inherit the whole world, taking over the world with the God of the Universe leading them, guiding them, directing them, fighting for them, making them His chief royal Kingdom, where they have a home forever!!
All of this isn’t just for them.
For everything God wrote and spoke in the Bible is for every person who is and does and will follow the One True God through Jesus Christ, the King of the Universe.
So He is telling everyone who believe in Him, who receive Jesus Christ as Lord:
That we, those who believe, will inherit the world.
That we will be led, from being slaves-to the world system-and become leaders, landowners, royal, raised up given our forever home with Him.
That we will conquer the whole world for and with King Jesus.
But not just in the land, nations, earthly power as they are thinking, but in the eternal, saving of the souls of all those also caught in slavery to the world system.
That He will lead us, like the Israelites to conquer all people’s hearts for the One True God, and His ways, His saving through King Jesus.
That the wonders He speaks of is first Jesus, His mercy, His kindness, His perfection that took the wrath that we were owed— from our hearts of slavery to the world, from our hearts of paganism being our own god—and saved us for the Kingdom of God.
That the wonder of Jesus that He did this for all people, for nations, for all tribes.
That the wonders that He would live inside us the moment we believe in Him and lead us to them lead all people to this saving truth, that they become part of His Kingdom too.
The wonders that He planned this since the beginning.
The wonders that he would let us be part of His saving plan, saving people near and far from slavery and raising them up to be sons and daughters to the God of the universe, too.
The wonders that He would want all of us to know Him intimately, living with His wisdom, His love, His peace, His provision, the moment we believe, now, until all eternity.
May we know that we know that we know the true wonders of God are that He— in love— sent Himself, to save us from ourselves, to give us a home, a life, a purpose.
May we know that we know that we know the true wonder of knowing the One that wants all people to know this truth.
May we know that we know that we know the true wonder of knowing this wonderful Father, Savior, King, Brother, who allows us to take part of His greatest wonderful mission for this season of creation, becoming His teammates in conquering the world hearts for the truth of eternity that brings life, love and healing forever.
